Need to get from A to B? There’s Uber. Looking to have food delivered from a myriad of available restaurants? There’s DoorDash. Need a small loan from your upcoming paycheck? There’s Earnin. And while each of these apps has accomplished something great, we can’t assume that the most innovative startups come from Silicon Valley or revolve around a smartphone app.

Agriculture is Arkansas’ oldest and largest industry, and entrepreneurs are looking to change the game, hoping to seize on the opportunities afforded to them by new and emerging technologies to eliminate obstacles and increase profitability. And they’re doing it from some of the more rural corners of the state.
