U.S. Secretary of Labor Coming to Little Rock

Next week, regional professionals will have the opportunity to hear from the nation’s leading labor official about job creation and workforce development.

The Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/AIA is hosting a talk between U.S. Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta and Lt. Gov. Tim Griffin on Monday, June 17. Acosta and Griffin will participate in a moderated discussion entitled “Opportunities and Challenges Facing the American Workforce.”

Both Acosta and Griffin will explore the challenges facing the American workforce as well as the opportunities available for workforce development and trade.

The event will be held Monday, June 17, from 7:45-9 a.m., with the talk beginning at 8 a.m.
