Create Little Rock Hosting Events for Young Professionals

Create Little Rock, a program founded in 2010 by the Little Rock Regional Chamber, aims to attract young talent to Little Rock and retain those professionals. This summer, Create Little Rock will be holding a series of events and outings for interns, law clerks and other young professionals in Little Rock.

Land in the Rock, Create Little Rock’s summer program, is designed to entertain and have young professionals, law clerks, medical residents and interns residing in Little Rock mingle during the summer months.

The program is offering a number of events in June and July. Check out the June events below:

June

Events start in June with a kickoff party on Wednesday, June 5 at the trading floor of Crews & Associates. Doors are scheduled to open at 5:30 and free beer and wine will be available for guests. The following gathering will be at War Memorial Stadium on June 8 for a Little Rock Rangers Minor League Soccer Game where they will play against the Tulsa Athletics. A tailgate will start at 6 p.m. with the game beginning at 7 p.m.

The third LITR event for June will be an Arkansas Travelers baseball game against Corpus Christi, Texas on June 13. LITR participants and CLR members are welcome to come to Dickey-Stephens Park Beer Garden at 7 p.m. The fourth gathering for the LITR program be at the Venture Center in Little Rock for Happy Hour Mixer on June 20 at 5:30 p.m. The center will showcase some of the startup companies in the area and offer free beer and wine.

The Land in the Rock’s final event for the month of June will be a cookout and kayaking event at the Rockwater Marina on June 26 starting at 6 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy the sun as they get to explore a new view of the Arkansas River.

Registration for June events are available for free for CLR members as well as LITR participants.
