Tom Bartholomew began CalArk in 1975 with just three trucks, with the belief that growth and success would happen through honesty, integrity, and a never-ending commitment to customer satisfaction. Today the company works with hundreds of CalArk company drivers and independent owner-operators (under the business name Central Hauling) to keep the wheels of American business turning.
“Although our company name references California and Arkansas, we now serve the eastern half of the United States, with a great deal of cross-border business with Mexico in the last 27 years through our main port in Laredo, Texas,” says CalArk President & CEO Rochelle Bartholomew.
