The Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) will be holding its Quarterly Business Analysis program in May.

CBER Director Mervin Jebaraj will deliver the report during the meeting. The analysis report is designed to provide a snapshot of each quarter’s economic performance and addresses significant trends and projections at the regional, state and national levels.

“The program will take a look at new economic data for the nation, Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas, the reasons behind the Federal Reserve’s change in monetary policy stance, the effect of yield curve inversions and the lingering effects of the tax cuts and trade wars,” Jebaraj said. “As the national economic growth reverts to long-term trends, timely economic information is vital to good business and policy decision making.”

The Quarterly Business Analysis program will be held Thursday, May 16, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fayetteville. Registration begins at 11 a.m. with the program beginning at 11:45 a.m. The program is expected to last 75 minutes.

The cost to attend the program and luncheon is $45.

Preregistration is required by Friday, May 10. Make your registration here or by calling 479-575-4151.
