LITTLE ROCK – Tim Gauger has been promoted to senior vice president and chief legal officer for Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, beginning Jan. 1, 2018. He replaces Lee Douglass, who will retire after 18 years with the company.
Gauger joined Arkansas Blue Cross in 2015 as senior counsel for regulatory matters. He previously served as chief legal counsel for the Arkansas Governor’s Office, under Gov. Mike Beebe, and as deputy attorney general for the state of Arkansas. A native of Wisconsin, Tim received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his J.D. from Northwestern University.
Gauger is a member of the Arkansas and Pulaski County Bar Associations. He and his wife, Stacy Sells, live in Little Rock.
