SAM raises over $1M for Marijuana Accountability Project

Smart Approaches to Marijuana (SAM), an anti-marijuana public interest group, has announced a new Marijuana Accountability Project. According to a press release from SAM, funding for the project has already exceeded $1 million, and continues to increase from contributions. The Marijuana Accountability Project was designed as a measure to keep the distribution and regulation of marijuana in check.

“This is the beginning of the conversation, not the end,” said SAM Action President Kevin Sabet, referring to the passing of Issue 6, the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment. “We will be working with localities to ensure they know their rights…”
