The addition was made official on Saturday, Sept. 22. The clinic will be renamed CHI St. Vincent Little Rock Diagnostic Clinic.
As a result of the clinic acquisition, CHI St. Vincent will increase by almost 300 employees. Of that number, 34 are health care providers, which includes physicians, physician assistants and advanced nurse practitioners. An additional 250 employees will also be added to the CHI St. Vincent health system.
In a press release, David Foster, MD, president of CHI St. Vincent Medical Group, welcomed the Little Rock Diagnostic Clinic to the CHI St. Vincent system. “We are excited and honored to welcome Little Rock Diagnostic Clinic to our medical group,” says Foster. “The entire care team demonstrates the highest commitment to patient care and excellence.”
Little Rock Diagnostic Clinic, founded in 1961, is a full service diagnostic clinic that provides primary care and diagnostic imaging to patients. Specialties at the clinic include endocrinology, internal medicine, neurology, podiatry, pulmonary care and rheumatology.
Part of the Catholic Health Initiatives, CHI St. Vincent has served Arkansas since 1888. Based in Little Rock, the health system has over 4,500 employees, 1,000 medical staff and 500 volunteers.
