Hendrix College Named One of America’s Top Colleges

CONWAY, Ark.  – Hendrix College appears as #213 overall in Forbes’ 2017 America’s Top Colleges rankings, up 20 spots from last year’s ranking. Forbes also ranked Hendrix at #153 in Private Colleges (climbing 21 spots), #81 in Liberal Arts Universities (rising 10 spots), and #42 in the South (holding steady with last year’s ranking).

The College also earned a Forbes Financial Grade of “A” (an increase from last year’s A- grade), and was once again listed above all other Arkansas colleges and universities in the Forbes overall rankings.

Hendrix continues to appear in Forbes’ Grateful Grads Index, its list of the top 200 best-loved colleges, coming in at #102.

When evaluating schools for its annual ranking, Forbes considers four categories: quality academics and student satisfaction, on-time graduation rates, low student debt, and high earning potential and career success.

Hendrix has also been ranked among “Best National Liberal Arts Colleges” and “Most Innovative Schools” by U.S. News & World Report, and highlighted in the Fiske Guide to Colleges 2018.
