Medical Marijuana Commission includes doctors, pharmacist, lawyer

Two doctors, a pharmacist, a lawyer, and a former official in the Arkansas senate are the newly appointed members of the state’s Medical Marijuana Commission. Governor Asa Hutchinson, Senate President Pro Tempore Jonathan Dismang, and Speaker of the House Jeremy Gillam announced the appointments Wednesday at the state capitol.

The appointees are: Dr. Ronda Henry-Tillman of Little Rock, a surgical oncologist and a professor of surgery at UAMS; James Miller of Bryant, a former state Senate chief of staff; Dr. J. Carlos Roman of Little Rock, an expert in pain management; Travis W. Story, a lawyer from Fayetteville; and Dr. Stephen J. Carroll, a pharmacist from Benton.
