The largest urology practice in the state has acquired Conway Urology, according to a news release.
Arkansas Urology, which has offices in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Benton, Clinton, El Dorado, Heber Springs and Russellville, announced the merger in a news release Thursday.
As a result of the merger, two physicians and two nurse practitioners from the clinic at 495 Hogan Lane will join Arkansas Urology’s staff of over 200. Dr. Jeff Marrotte, Dr. James France, Christie Dumbowski, A.P.N. and Shawn Clawson, A.P.N. will continue to work at the Conway location under the Arkansas Urology name. Dr. Robbie Hurtt will join the staff in Conway this month “to further provide access to the ever growing population in Conway and Faulkner County,” according to the release.
“Arkansas Urology is excited with this merger of Conway Urology. Not only will this expand our service area, it will create better convenience for patients in central Arkansas,” E. Scot Davis, CEO at Arkansas Urology, said in the release. “This acquisition will enhance our existing network and help Arkansas Urology expand our Centers of Excellence and commitment to advanced technologies within the state for the patients we serve.”
Dr. Jeff Marotte said Conway Urology is excited to join the larger clinic.
“We are pleased to offer a larger staff that can handle the complexities of running a specialty clinic with the best patient care possible and state-of-the-art technology,” he said.
