First Security Bank Jonesboro has promoted a new loan officer at its main Jonesboro banking center.
Alex Beasley of Jonesboro has been promoted to loan officer, and in his new role, will focus on consumer and small business lending. Beasley has been a First Security employee since 2013 and has served in several roles, including as a loan assistant.
“Alex has proven to be a quick learner and has made great contributions to our lending team,” said Brad Edwards, president and chief executive officer of First Security Bank Jonesboro. “He grew up in Jonesboro, and is well acquainted with the area. His co-workers and customers recognize him as someone who goes the extra mile to provide excellent customer service.”
Beasley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Arkansas Tech University and a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C.
First Security Bank, is the fifth largest state-chartered bank in Arkansas. The Searcy-based bank offers over 75 community banking centers, 95 ATMs and has over 1,000 employees statewide.
