AEDC Holding Small and Minority Business Matchmaking Event


The Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC) is hosting its 2018 Arkansas Small, Minority and Women-Owned Business Matchmaking Event on Thursday, Sept. 13, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This one-day event helps small business owners by matching them with county, state and federal buyers for contract opportunities. In addition, the event will feature a series of 12-minute one-on-one appointments, as well as panel discussions.

Multiple speakers will be featured during the event. Speakers include Dr. Julia Chears-Young, owner and principal research consultant of Precise Data Consulting LLC; Philip Burton, owner of Integrity Office Solutions; and Julia Wrigley, owner and president of Wrigley Construction Company. Pam Jones, founder of Culturally Connected Communications, will moderate the events.

The event will be held at the Metroplex Event Center, located at 10800 Colonel Glenn Road in Little Rock, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 13.
